I’m back with our monthly Frenchcurves challenge. This month our theme is ‘checkered’. I was so happy to read the theme. I already knew what I was going to wear. But during the holidays I came accross several checkered pieces I had to adopt and ended up with a different outfit.

Je suis de retour avec notre défi mensuel des Frenchcurves. Ce mois-ci, notre thème est «à carreaux». J’étais si heureuse de découvrir le thème. Je savais déjà ce que j’allais porter. Mon armoire regorge des choses à carreaux! Mais pendant les vacances, j’ai trouvé plusieurs pièces à damier que j’ai dû adopter et du coup j’ai fini avec une tenue différente pour ce challenge.

I felt like going all the way into the theme and go for a total checkered outfit. I had to keep clear from my IG as I didn’t want to spoil these new babies.

J’ai eu envie d’y aller à fond pour ce thème et j’ai choisi un total look à carreaux. Je devais rester à l’écart de mon IG car je ne voulais pas dévoiler mes nouveaux bébés avant ce challenge.

The first of November, we went for a walk in the Royal parc. The perfect scenery for a little outfit shoot.

Le premier novembre, nous nous promenions dans le parc Royal. Le décor parfait pour une petite séance photo en shootant ma tenue.

Je porte ma nouvelle jupe que j’ai achetée chez Big Sister Closet

I combined it with my loose satin checkered Torrid blouse. Different colours and squares but I like he combination. The days we came out without a coat are over for now.

Je l’ai combiné avec ma blouse à carreaux satinée de Torrid. Différentes couleurs et différent style de carrés, mais j’aime bien la combinaison. Les jours où nous sortons sans un manteau sont révolus pour l’instant.

I love this white coat I brought back from Sydney. Dry cold weather is the perfect moment to wear it again!

J’aime ce manteau blanc que j’ai ramené de Sydney. Le froid sec est le moment idéal pour le porter à nouveau!

The bag is really a war survivor. I can’t even remeber how old it is and went I adopted it, it was already an Ebay find. Love the form and the vibrant colour.

Le sac est vraiment un survivant de la guerre. Je ne sais même pas me rappeler quel âge il a et quand je l’ai adopté, tout en étant une trouvaille Ebay. J’aime sa forme, le gros nœud et sa couleur vibrante.

It’s not only that time of the year we take out our coats. Tights are back in the top drawers too. These are some from Lane Bryant. Super comfy. When are they opening a store here!!!!

Ce n’est pas seulement le moment de l’année où nous sortons nos manteaux. Les collants sont aussi de retour dans les tiroirs. Cette paire vient de chez Lane Bryant. Super confortable. Quand ouvrent-ils un magasin ici ou en Europe au moins !!!!
